A fun project in that it took me back to earlier days and also solidified my high regard of WordPress.  Upgraded two sites, OphthoBooks and RootAtlas, from WordPress v2.2 to WordPress v3.5.1.  All the standard precautions taken and a local test run on each and we were off.  I was able to do a manual install and the automated database upgrade went without a hitch.  WordPress is Awesome!!!  No updates to the theme were made but some plugins had to be retired as they hadn’t been updated in YEARS.  On the flip side, several were running strong.  WordPress v2.2, Stan Getz, was released on May 16, 2007.
